Hello Silver Meadows Campers!

Now that spring is here, I’m getting really excited for summer, sunshine, and a chance to see everyone at camp again!

As most of you know, after serving for 5 years as our inspiring camp director, Jenny Straub has stepped down and I have been asked to fill the position. I feel honoured to be following such a great leader and plan to start off with an open heart and tonnes of enthusiasm. Camp was such an influential part of my teen years, I really want to give back and provide that same amazing Christ-centred experience to others.

This year, camp runs from July 1 – 8 and lots of familiar faces will be returning as staff, with a few new ones too. Camper applications need to be mailed in to me (not Jenny Straub!) by June 15.

SEP Silver Meadows is such a fun experience; we want to share it with everyone! Tell your friends, your siblings, your cousins… this year, newcomers who have never been to camp get a $25 discount! Also, scholarships are available again, so let me know if you would like to apply and I can walk you through that process.

All 2012 Camp Applications are now available online. Please note, there is a brief one-page Application for returning Campers, Apprentices and Staff. New Campers, Apprentices and Staff will complete a more detailed form.

CAMP DATES 2012

The confirmed Dates for SEP Silver Meadows 2012 are Sunday, July 1 to Sunday, July 8. Camp fees this year will be $225.00.

Staff should arrive by 11:00am on Saturday, June 30th

PRE-TEEN CAMP 2012

We are very pleased to announce to our Pre-Teens that there WILL be Camp for you too this year from Monday, July 2nd (beginning at 2:00pm), until Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 (ending at 2:00pm). Contact itsjenny17@yahoo.ca for more details.
